A Lovely Gift

I received this set as a surprise gift from my daughter. All my dishes were old and cracked. What a lovely surprise. She knows that I am a long time Better Homes and Gardens fan. My first impression was that I loved the difference between the deep colored edge against the gray. And I like the different shades of gray on the plates and bowls. I don't know how they do that but it's pretty cool! The bowls are nice and deep and I like the rim. My daughter is going back to buy me the mugs for my tea!! Thank you Better Homes and Gardens!

Sad but true

I fell in love with these dishes. Brought them home put them in the sink with water to remove the stickers on the top and the bottom of each item. Then washed them. Dried them and put them in the cupboard. Went to take a plate out and it was wet on the bottom.removed all 35 pieces from the cupboard and dried them again. Checked later and the bottoms were wet again. Somehow these dishes are retaining the water from washing them. Needless to say they are going back to the store!!! Sad but true.
